Your fine jewelry is precious and should be cared for accordingly. To extend its life and keep it in pristine condition, we recommend the following care:

Remove During Activities: Before engaging in strenuous activities—like exercising, yard work, or other recreational tasks—remove and store your fine jewelry safely. Rings should also be taken off for hand-intensive activities, such as household chores, that could bring your jewelry into contact with hard surfaces.

Avoid Chemicals: Keep your jewelry away from chemicals, including perfumes, hair sprays, cosmetics, and lotions, to prevent damage to metals and stones.

Store Properly: When removing necklaces, clasp them and store them securely to prevent chains from tangling.

Protect Between Cleanings: To maintain your jewelry’s pristine condition between professional cleanings, remove pieces before showering or applying lotion, perfume, or sunscreen.

Home Cleaning Tips: Clean diamond jewelry at home by gently scrubbing the metal and stones with a soft toothbrush and an ammonia-based cleaner, such as Mr. Clean or Simple Green. Avoid using any chemicals, abrasives, or solvents on pearls.

Professional Cleaning

We offer lifetime complimentary cleaning and inspections for all jewelry purchased from T. Anthony Jewelers. This service includes polishing, refinishing, and rhodium plating as needed—a uniquely comprehensive level of service.

Sizing Guide

If you are unsure of your ring size, request a complimentary at-home ring sizer to find your perfect fit.

Sizing Tips: Engagement rings should fit comfortably yet snugly. The ring should slide on smoothly but require a good tug to take off. If your ring slides on and off effortlessly or feels uncomfortably tight, it likely needs to be resized.

Keep in mind that temporary factors like heat, cold, salt intake, weight changes, or pregnancy can affect finger size. For lasting comfort, we suggest confirming your ring size over time. Please consider these factors, as frequent resizing can impact the structural integrity of your ring.

Resizing Services: We offer the first resizing of any T. Anthony Jewelers engagement ring as a complimentary service within six months of purchase. Any additional resizing will be subject to a charge.

Repair

If your T. Anthony Jewelers piece has suffered damage, we are happy to repair it. For more information or assistance with shipping your jewelry, please email us at hello@tanthonyjewelers.com.

Each piece will be personally evaluated on a case-by-case basis. In instances where a manufacturing defect has caused an issue, we will repair and restore your jewelry to its original beauty at no additional cost.

Please note that manufacturing defects do not cover general wear and tear, scratches, discoloration due to chemical contact, warped metal, lost jewelry or center stones.

Additionally, T. Anthony Jewelers is not responsible for the loss, chipping, or abrasion of any center stones. For added peace of mind, we strongly recommend insuring your jewelry against loss or damage through your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy, or a specialized jewelry insurer. If your piece shows signs of excessive wear-and-tear or damage, we will provide you with a repair quote. Your approval of the work and associated costs will be required before we proceed. Should you choose not to proceed with the repair, we will promptly arrange to return your jewelry as it was received.

Warranty

At T. Anthony Jewelers, we are committed to creating jewelry of exceptional quality, built to last for generations. Each piece is handcrafted by master artisans, and we proudly stand behind our workmanship. Every item includes a lifetime manufacturing warranty covering repairs for any defects in the production process.

To maintain this warranty, we kindly request that you use our professional cleaning service at least once every 12 months. These inspections help prevent stone loss and extend the life of your jewelry.

Appraisals

As a courtesy, T. Anthony Jewelers offers a professional third-party appraisal for all certified diamond engagement rings purchased through us, available for $150. Appraisals for other jewelry purchased from T. Anthony Jewelers are also available upon request.

Our fine jewelry appraisals are conducted by Seattle’s only independent jewelry appraisal service, unaffiliated with any retail or online store, ensuring objectivity and adherence to the highest standards of appraisal theory and practice as outlined by the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers.

You will receive a digital copy of your appraisal for your records, with a printed version available upon request.
